2 lb boneless pork butt or pork shoulder
1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
1 bottle Patricia Quintana® Achiote Sauce
2 tablespoons Avocado oil

Preheat the oven to 400 F.
Season the meat with salt and pepper.
On a skillet over medium heat add the avocado oil and sauté the onions, set aside, seal the meat
on all sides.
Place the meat in a baking tray, marinate with Patricia Quintana® Achiote Sauce and
cover tightly with an aluminum sheet.
Bake for 1 hour or until it’s done.
Broil for 5 minutes or until brown.
Cut in slices and serve with sauce to taste.
INSTANT POT:
Season the meat with salt and pepper.
Select saute mode on the Instant Pot: heat the pan, add the avocado oil and the onions. Once they are light brown, fry the pork on all sides and add the Patricia Quintana® Achiote Sauce.
Cook at a high temperature for 25 minutes.
